My Spider
by

Hello, I am a spider,
I'm a hugger, not a biter.
Any other causes I cannot see
For there are so many legs on me.
I'd rather give you a great big hug
Than eat a moth, butterfly, or bug.
My friends they call me Spidy,
And say I'm rather tidy.
In my cage I sleep and eat in different places,
And also have fun bug chases!
I like to dance when I'm happy,
But when I'm scared I can get snappy.
