When I look at the stars that I see,

I gaze at the creation that God made to be

There is a sparkling reflection upon the lake,

Because he made them just for our sake.

Its a precious treasure that He lets us keep,

That cheers us up even when we weep.

Stars, tonight please don't go away,

I want you tonight to please just stay.

Sparkle and twinkle upon me,

Your elegance gives the happiness key.

You cheer us up when we're sad,

You calm us down when we're mad.

Take me away to the stars in the sky.

And make the stars sparkle so I wouldn't cry.

Beyond the stars there is the heaven,

A place that is clean of sinful brethren .

So all I can say is how amazing stars can be

And how great is your creation that I see.
