“You have a great gift … a very great gift, and it must be used.”
Paul Revere is famous for his ride and bravery which saved the USA. Sybil Ludington is famous for her ride and bravery witch helped win the revolutionary war.
Paul Revere asked his friend to watch the enemy and on the roof of the church shine one lantern if they come by land shine two if by sea. They came by sea so Paul Revere rode off to spread the news. He warned the village and hollered “the red coats are coming,” as loud as he could and he saved the town!
Sybil Ludington was tucking her little brother in to bed when some one came to the door. He said to her dad “the enemy is coming.” Then Sybil Ludington said that she could warn the villagers. So she rode and shouted “the enemy is coming all soldiers meet at Ludington’s home and women and children be ready to flee from danger.” Then as she rode she got scared of robbers, but she kept going anyway.
They both helped win the revolutionary war by warning the people so they were ready. They both were brave Sybil Ludington was brave to keep going even though she was scared. Paul Revere was brave to risk his life to save his country.
