The Charm Bracelet
by
Ashley Jones
(age 15 )
The new bracelet sparkles so brightly,
On my wrist it hangs lightly.
All the charms have a special meaning in my heart.
All the charms have a special meaning in my heart.
Each one has their own part.
The American flag; I am thankful to be free,
The cross, to symbolize the One who died for me.
The American flag; I am thankful to be free,
The cross, to symbolize the One who died for me.
A softball; the sport I like to play,
And a birthstone to show I was born in May.
An apron; I really like to bake,
A pencil to symbolize the poems I often make.
On my wrist that bracelet still continues to shine,
On my wrist that bracelet still continues to shine,
The sparkling piece of jewelry that will always be mine.
