Sailing
by
Samuel Shunk
(age 10)
If you like to breath the salty air,
A sailor is who you ought to be,
Whith arms ready for work, and a
Heart with the heat of a solar flare.
A sailor is who you ought to be.
So jump on board the rocking ship,
And feel the breez of the clean air.
A sailor is who you should be.
Ready to fight the stormy gale,
Onward, men, onward, we must sail.
A sailor is what you ought to be.
If the ship is drowning,
If the masts crumble,
You must be outstanding
If a sailor you will be.
