The Summer of the Farm Kids

The Summer of The Farm Kids

Once on a hot summers day there was a girl named Maddy along with her friend Samantha. Maddy has 2 little brothers named Wyatt and Peyton. She also has 3 sisters named, Lillie, Ladonna, and Lacie. Samantha has a sister named Liv. They all enjoy playing outside and running around playing tons of games.

But, one day there was a new farmer at the kids' house. You see, the kids that live together, Maddy's family, live on a rent at Samantha's' father, the grouchy farmer Steve's, farm. So..one day the grouchy farmer Steve yelled and complained to Maddy's parents', "THOSE KIDS ARE TO NOT BE OUTSIDE WHILE I AM FARMING!"

So, of course the parents took Steve's word and told the kids to stay out of Steve's way and stay inside. The kids were so bored on the nice Summers day. For the past few days, Samantha and her sister, Liv, came out to the farm and kept the kids company while being bored. They tried to sneak by the farmer several times to play outside. Yet, that hadn't worked!

But, one day all the girls including the little boys came up with a plan! They decided that they could earn the privalage of playing outside back. They thought they could do this by, helping out with the farm, including, washing the tractors, organizing the farm books, and picking the weeds out of the farm ground.

So, then they talked to the grouchy farmer Steve and he agreed. The kids helped around the farm and after a hard, long working week of torture to get their privalage back, they finally succeeded to their goal of getting a reward, PLAYING OUTSIDE!

The kids all ran outside as soon as they got the fantastic news. After all, the farmer was becoming more and more nice to the kids and his own kids except for the time when.. well, who knows, that's the future!

This was a great story and I will look forward to hearing more to this story or future stories. Keep up the great work and be encouraged. Maybe some day the Lord would have you to be a writer.
