chapter 2
Shark!

The shark stared hungrily at Finn and Eddy. Then it opened its mouth, showing teeth as big and sharp as knives. Eddy screamed and so did Finn. They swam as fast as they could toward the entrance of the cave, with Splinter slithering along beside them.

But Light-bulb stayed behind. He was following a piece of seaweed right into the sharks' mouth! Finn froze. If he tried to save his pet, he would die. If he swam away, his pet would die. Finally, he zoomed toward Light-bulb, grabbed him, and zoomed of again. His pet was safe!

Adventure in the dark

Do you think we should go back in there?” panted Eddy. “Not right now,” said Finn.”We should wait 'till the shark is gone, then go back in.”

Good idea.”

When the boys were certain that the shark had left, they went back in the cave. They swam and swam until they got tired, then stopped to rest. Eddy had packed two fish sandwiches, so he took them out and gave one to Finn.

Chapter 1
Once upon a time, there was a clown fish named Finn. He lived with his family in a little coral reef
in the middle of the sea. Like his family, Finn was very adventurous. He loved to go anywhere he
had never gone before.

One morning, Finn woke up to find his family already awake. Slipping out of bed, he sleepily
swam toward the kitchen. “Your breakfast is ready.”Said Macy, Finn's sister. “We're
going to the Octopus's house today.”

Yes.” Thought Finn. He always loved to visit Eddy Octopus and explore the caves near the Octopus's house.

After they finished breakfast, Finn's family went over to the Octopus's house. Finn was the first one in.

Hi, Finn!” Eddy said, opening the door for him. Together the boys swam off to the caves.

Eddy had brought his pet angler fish, Light-bulb. Finn had brought his pet eel, Splinter. They made their way through the darkness, with Light-bulb leading the way and Splinter slithering along beside them. Suddenly, Eddy stopped. The boys listened. They heard somebody swimming toward them. Then they realized what it was. It was a shark!
